Course Description:
The 4-Hour Fall Protection Safety Course is a specialized safety training program aimed at instructing employees on the basics of fall risk, correct fall protection system use, and adhering to relevant OSHA rules and NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations.
Falls are the most common cause of death in construction, and this training is critical to minimizing injuries and fatalities by instructing workers and supervisors on how to identify, assess, and control fall hazards on the worksite.
As required by NYC Local Law 196, this course is required for all employees who wish to acquire or renew their Site Safety Training (SST) card, especially those at heights on building construction sites.
