Course Description:

30-Hour OSHA General Construction Safety Course is an in-depth safety training course for construction supervisors, site safety coordinators, forepersons, project managers, and workers with supervisory duties. The course provides a greater, more advanced knowledge of OSHA standards as well as the distinct safety and health hazards typically encountered on construction sites.

 

In contrast to the 10-hour training, which is designed for new hires, the 30-hour training is directed at those who have some authority or supervisory responsibility on the worksite, making it essential for those who are responsible for overall safety compliance.

 

Enrollees will gain a comprehensive education in hazard recognition, accident prevention, worksite analysis, and OSHA compliance standards—equipping them to instill a culture of safety that reduces risk and prevents loss of life or injury.
